The opinion of our registrars is very important and close to our hearts. That is why this year, in addition to the Consumer Survey market research, we have also reached out to our registrars for their comments. We conduct these surveys at regular intervals in order to obtain valuable feedback as a basis for decisions and new services. We were supported by the renowned online market research institute Marketagent.com, which conducted the registrar survey to ensure complete anonymity of all respondents. The key points included evaluating registrar satisfaction with our various nic.at services, customer service, technical services, marketing, round tables and the NIS2 Directive, which will come into force in 2024.

.at domain should not be missing from any registrar portfolio in the DACH region

Here are a few highlights from the survey: 93.8 % of our registrars (n= 64) rate nic.at as very good or good. The reasons for including a .at domain in the registrar domain portfolio are, on the one hand, the connection to Austria and on the other, high customer demand. According to our registrars, the .at domain is – unsurprisingly – a "MUST" in the DACH region. This is also reflected in the importance of the .at domain in the registrar product portfolio, which is high at an overall percentage of 84.4 %.
